Somme Accommodation and Meals
You will stay in a 150 year old, renovated french farmhouse in a tranquil and picturesque Somme village.
This village accommodated the Royal Fusiliers in World War One, and the tanks for the September 1916 Flers-Courcelette battle were delivered here by rail from Abbeville.
The farmhouse has full oil fired central heating, a multifuel burner, five double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen diner, a spacious living room and a lovely 1/2 acre garden.
The entire house is exclusively available to guests during their stay and there is an extensive library of World War One books, dvds and satellite TV available for evening viewing. The house has a telephone, UK electrical sockets and broadband. A hairdryer is available.
All meals and refreshments, including wines and beers, as well as towels and bed linen are included in the tour price. Note breakfasts are Continental.
